Outdoor Living
These outdoor living transformations focused on creating functional, stylish, and inviting spaces for relaxation and entertaining. In one backyard, customers decided to remove their in-ground pool to create a functional outdoor living space. We built a custom outdoor hangout featuring a small accessory building (think: a she-shed) with a fireplace, TV, and lounge area. We completed the outdoor living space with a custom patio and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. In addition, we also built a custom oversized accessory garage on the property to help store recreational vehicles for the owners. Another project enhanced our customer’s patio with a custom pergola and a privacy screen surrounding their fire pit, blending comfort, design, and usability to maximize outdoor enjoyment.
Basement Upgrades
We turn underutilized basements into highly functional and stylish living spaces. Upgrades included additional bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchenette and bar areas, custom storage solutions, workout spaces, and a modern glass wall that enhanced openness and flow. Each design maximizes visibility and usability while creating comfortable, versatile areas for entertaining, relaxing, and everyday living.
Skylights
These projects transformed each home interior by bringing in abundant natural light and a sense of openness. John Joseph Construction installs skylights in vaulted living rooms, kitchens, and previously dark hallways. The skylights in each home highlight architectural details and create bright, inviting spaces. Each installation included careful roof modifications and professional techniques to ensure a flawless fit as well as to prevent future leaks, blending functionality with a clean, polished finish.
Complete Home Remodel
This whole home remodel transformed a former in-home bakery into a modern, luxurious ranch designed for both comfort and style. The layout was re-worked to create a more open feel, including a larger, custom chef’s kitchen that anchors the home. The living area is now bright and inviting, featuring a stone fireplace and high, accent ceilings that add a grand, spacious atmosphere. Additional upgrades included doubling the garage space (from 2 spaces to 4), four modern bedrooms and three beautiful full bathrooms, a full exterior refresh, and a unique bar area/mud room combination, which makes this home feel like a perfect oasis to come home to.
