Our team completed an exciting renovation for Pop Start Pizza in Two Rivers, a restaurant specializing in authentic Neapolitan pizza, prepared in a traditional domed oven. The remodel included installing a custom pizza oven as the centerpiece of the open kitchen, converting the existing bar into a functional pizza line, and adding a new order counter to improve efficiency and customer flow. We removed an outdated doorway and replaced it with a fresh, modern side entry that enhances curb appeal and accessibility. The seating area was refreshed with updated finishes and a new layout, creating a brighter and more inviting atmosphere for guests. The completed project seamlessly blends functionality with style, creating a space for Pop Start Pizza that reflects the quality and authenticity of its food.
Not By Bread Alone - Green Bay, WI
Whether it's the abuse of foot traffic or the desire for a new look, over time, every business needs a refresh, which is exactly what we provided our friends atNot By Bread Alone. While much of the project involved updating finishes, they made an important decision to change the workflow of employees at the counter to provide a better experience for customers. This redesign was not an easy decision and required our staff to spend considerable time in the space to gain a comprehensive understanding of their operations, reconfigure the space, and enable the owners to move forward confidently. After a lengthy planning phase, we provided a construction schedule that transitioned from old to new over the course of four days and nights, allowing the owners to have minimal downtime.
Holy Spirit Parish - Darboy, WI
Sometimes a project isn't about glitz and glamour, but is simply about preserving what already exists. That was certainly the case while working on this 100+ year old church, which is already beautiful, but just needed some TLC to make sure it stays that way for decades to come. This project was unique because the deck surface that needed repairs was over three stories in the air and only had access through two roof-hatch sections. There were also two working bells in the tower/work space at the time that were unmovable and needed preservation during construction.
Conger Industries - Wausau, WI
When you're in business, every inch of your facility costs you money, so when space is underutilized in your facility, it may be time for a fresh idea. This was precisely the case for Conger Industries; they had a desire to enhance the workflow of getting repair parts to the shop floor for the service techs. The solution was a uniquely designed system of lockers, which allowed the parts department to securely distribute and organize per job, providing a more effective workflow.
3 Lakes Center for the Arts - Three Lakes, WI
The original 3 Lakes Center for the Arts building is a historic World War II military Quonset hut frame building. At one point, the building was converted into apartments and various gift shops throughout the years. The building is currently home to a local theatre. (For more history on the theatre, click here: https://www.tlcfa.org/) The owner was looking to repair the old leaky dormers that were in place serving the former apartments. Construction included the removal of those dormers and re-framing of the areas to match the curve of the quonset hut shape. New corrugated metal roofing was then installed to match the existing corrugated metal roofing. When all exterior repairs were complete, a spray roof coating was applied to get the structure back in working condition.
Edward Jones - Crivitz, WI
This project involved converting an old coffee shop into a modern Edward Jones investment office. We built walls to create a conference room, an office space, and a welcoming entry and waiting area. Finishes received updates to complete the modern look while still maintaining the Northwoods charm. This project had a quick turnaround, with a 2-month construction schedule, before the new tenant was able to move in and enjoy the space.
Webster Dental - Green Bay, WI
After years of successful dentistry, Webster Dental Associates was ready for a refresh of their office space. While much of the project involved updating finishes, the staff also chose to change the layout of the lab space for their hygienists. The goal was to create a brighter and more efficient space for both customers and staff. This project involved updating nine operatories, two doctors' offices, and bathrooms, as well as reconstructing the sterilization and laboratory area. We took care of all construction outside of business hours, allowing Webster Dental to maintain its regular business hours and operations throughout the project.
