The original 3 Lakes Center for the Arts building is an old world-war military quonset hut frame building. At one point the building was converted into apartments and various gift shops throughout the years. The building is currently home to a local theatre. (For more history on the theatre, click here.)The owner was looking to repair the old leaky dormers that were in place serving the former apartments. Construction included the removal of those dormers and re-framing of the areas to match the curve of the quonset hut shape. New corrugated metal roofing was then installed to match the existing corrugated metal roofing. When all exterior repairs were complete, a spray roof coating was applied to get the structure back in working condition.
